I turned a labor of love into a mobile business venture with my end goal being a sincere desire to be of service. I bring to the table professional integrity, a passion for writing, in addition to the ability to create final self-marketing products that are visually appealing and strategically tailored to draw the reader in while showcasing level of excellence being offered to potential employers, career-field of interest industry optimized keywords, an overview of background information detailing most accomplished/consequential achievements, position-specific experiences, and occupational milestones. I retired after 35 years of civilian federal government employment after having held multiple positions at both stateside and overseas locations. I am the spouse of a retired military service member. I have been writing professionally for 20+ years related to various career-specific specializations. My writing samples have also been showcased in multiple professional publications that have been distributed nationwide. I have had the awesome pleasure of establishing and maintaining business relationships with a diverse client base made up of students at various academic levels, entry-, mid-, and senior-level enlisted military personnel, junior/senior military officers, and entry-, mid-, and executive-level employees employed in both federal and private sectors. Their career fields of choice have ranged from administrative to presidential support. They have been located throughout the 50 continental United States and other global locations specifically - Africa (Nigeria), Europe (United Kingdom), and Asia, (Afghanistan, Iraq, and Japan).

I provide transition assistance workshops and briefings in federal, individualized, and group settings related to job search strategies, writing position-specific résumés and job search (cover) letters, conduct mock interviews, identify support services, employment barriers, and employment category benefits/entitlements designed to increase marketability of those being riffed or displaced due to mandated downsizing, those affected by gaps in employment and seeking to increase their marketability by rebranding themselves, or military personnel affected by voluntary or involuntary separations, retirements, or draw downs. I design curriculum in accordance with approved learning modules and delivery methods. All aspects of course development are executed from course inception through completion. Summarization of attendee course evaluations are based on lesson, module, and course/system content. Lessons learned are incorporated into future classes. 

I also have experience offering briefings on Hiring Flexibilities, Federal Employment, Priority Placement Initiatives, Military Spouse Programs, Reemployment Rights, and employing veterans/their family members. All sessions are customized to assist in developing/enhancing Individualized Career Transition Assistance Plans. During collaborative effort processes or briefings, I oftentimes recommend sources for support or resolution and encourage follow through.

During the last two years, I have partnered with “JobZone, LLC” during their hybrid job fairs which are conducted in virtual/in person formats as their in-house résumé expert exchanging information associated with securing employment, job search strategies, long/short term career goals, identifying employment related services, and showcasing select samples of position-specific résumés and cover letters from my business portfolio.
